Fuengirola and its attractions

Fuengirola is the attractive tourist destination that stays nestled somewhere between Mijas and Benalmadena, on the amazing Costa del Sol, the most famous and popular coast in Spain. Its position is a very privileged one, as it is guarded by the hills of the picturesque Sierra de Mijas; the Sierras de Malaga also protect it, so Fuengirola is happy to enjoy a wonderful climate, the same climate that so much attracts visitors to this beautiful city. When you get to Fuengirola, one of the first things you have to do is to go on a walk along the promenade which offers great views and which is packed with restaurants that serve fresh, delicious local dishes. The list of beaches contains names such as Santa Amalia, San Francisco, Carvajal, Los Boliches and Gaviotas; these are the beaches where you have to spend relaxing hours if you want to get a nice tan: they are all very clean and covered with delicate sands and they are all bathed by crystal clear waters. These beaches are also fantastic for those who love water sports such as sailing, diving, windsurfing or the fishing trips, so there is nothing to stop you from choosing Fuengirola and its beaches as destination for a summer holiday.

Other attractions

Back in Fuengirola, visit the ferienhäuser lloret de mar Church Square and try the tapas bars for a little piece of pure Spain; you will love it!
